How do I change my browser's home page or default search settings? To change your browser's home page in Internet Explorer 8:

Note: The directions may vary slightly if you're using a different version of Internet Explorer.

  1. Click the Tools menu of Internet Explorer.
  2. Select Internet Option.
  3. Select the General tab
  4. Go to the Home page section at the top of the dialog box and enter your selection.

  6. If you want to change the default search provider, go to the Search section, and click the settings button to change your default search provider.



To change your browser's home page in Firefox 3.5 :

 

Note: The directions may vary slightly if you're using a different version of Firefox.

  1. In your browser menu, select Tools and then Options.
  2. Click the Main icon.
  3. Select Show my home page in the When Firefox starts: dropdown menu.
  4. Enter the page you want to display when Firefox opens in the Home Page field.
