Why does my DVR intermittently freeze and reboot while recording? This can indicate that your DVR is overheating and is thereby shutting down to prevent damage to its internal components. Try the suggestions below:

  • Make sure your DVR is in a well-ventilated area.


  • If your used recording space is greater than 90%, deleting some recorded programs may help.
