Where does Verizon have offices?

Verizon has 150 locations across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.

How do I search and apply for open positions?

We list all current job openings on our Careers site, where you can search and apply.

Can I apply for more than one job?

Yes. We encourage you to explore different career areas that best fit your qualifications and interests.

How will I know whether my application has been received?

You will receive an email confirmation after submitting an application. We receive a large number of applications, and we do our best to respond in a timely matter to questions and inquiries about posted positions. If your qualifications match the job, a recruiter from our team will contact you.

How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile, log in and click on “My Profile.”

Can I share job postings with a family member or friend?

Yes. We encourage you to share jobs with your friends and family members. Click “Share This Job,” near the bottom of the job description, to share a specific job posting via email or social media.

I was referred by a Verizon employee. What happens next?

If you’ve been referred by one of our employees, you’ll receive an email with an application link. Follow the link to complete an application for the job. If your qualifications match, a recruiter will contact you.

Do you recruit on college campuses?

Yes. Verizon participates in on-campus recruiting and has many other opportunities for college students, including internships, entry-level positions and Leadership Development Programs. Take a look at our campus events to see where Verizon will be next.

Interviewing and offer process

I submitted an application. What should I expect next?

After applications are received for a job, recruiters review them to determine whether there’s a match. If there is, a recruiter may contact you to discuss next steps. For some jobs, an assessment test may be the next step.

What is the format of the interviews?

We use a combination of interviewing and selection tools to help us evaluate and determine the right people for the right jobs. These include competency-based questions as well as behavioral and situational interviews. For customer service and retail sales positions, we also do evaluations based on role-playing to ensure the candidates we select are able to best serve our customers.

When will my benefits start?

Benefits* at Verizon generally start the first day of your employment and include comprehensive, best-in-class plans to cater to employees’ health and wellness, financial and retirement planning, and learning (in the form of tuition assistance and training). Do you offer training?

Yes. We have robust training and development programs to support leadership as well as functional skill development.

Do you offer tuition reimbursement/assistance?

All of our employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement/assistance* for continuing education and professional development in a field related to the business. We encourage all of our employees to continue to learn and grow throughout their careers.

Verizon’s Tuition Assistance Program* provides reimbursement/assistance for approved courses or degree programs taken through a properly accredited institution as outlined in the tuition program guidelines and that are relevant to the business. Employees are eligible for up to $8,000 in assistance each year.
