Verizon Texas 3rd Annaul DVA Walk
   

3rd Annual "Stand Up, Step Out" Domestic Violence Awareness Walk


On October 27th, more than 250 participants took part in the 3rd Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Walk at our Hidden Ridge campus. Four local nonprofits - the Irving Family Advocacy Center and the Irving Police Department; the Tarrant County Ladder Alliance; the Community Enrichment Center; and The Family Place - each received $15,000 Verizon Foundation grants to help fund their ongoing programs serving victims of domestic violence. Congratulations and THANKS to everyone who came out to support this great cause!
