In September 2013, Moody's downgraded the long-term debt ratings of Verizon Communication and its subsidiaries, including Verizon Wireless. The ratings action includes downgrades to ‘Baa1’ for Verizon Communications and ‘A3’ for Verizon Wireless. The short term rating of ‘P-2’ was affirmed. The ‘Baa1’ for Verizon Communications and ‘A3’ for Verizon Wireless stay unchanged in 2014. Outlook remains at stable.

In September 2013, Fitch downgraded the issuer default ratings of Verizon Communications and its subsidiaries, including Verizon Wireless to ‘A-‘. The short term rating of Verizon Communications was downgraded to ‘F2’. All ratings were affirmed in April 2014. Outlook remains at stable.

In September 2013, Standard and Poor’s downgraded the corporate credit rating of Verizon Communications and its subsidiaries, including Verizon Wireless, to 'BBB+'. The ‘A-2’ short term rating was affirmed. In February 2014, S&P withdrew the corporate credit rating and the short term rating on Cellco Partnership (d/b/a Verizon Wireless). The ‘BBB+’ for Verizon Communications stays unchanged in 2014. On August 4, 2014, the Outlook was revised to Positive from Stable.
