ESPN Coming to Xbox One

Now that Xbox One is on sale and the gaming console war is officially in full swing this holiday shopping season, consumers are buzzing about which apps will be featured on the console.  Just recently, we gave our customers the good news that our FiOS TV App will be available on the Xbox One in the coming weeks.

And as part of the FiOS TV app for the new console, ESPN on Xbox One will be available for sports fans. With more personalization, FiOS TV customers will be able to preview ESPN video clips, watch live and on-demand content through a MyESPN account, access favorite teams and sports, multitask by snapping video on-demand clips from ESPN.com.  This is just the beginning as ESPN will be making additional updates to the app in the coming weeks.  With buzz around this new console, consumers are already commenting on how Xbox One combines a wide variety of gaming and entertainment apps into a more seamless experience.

So which console are you lining up to purchase? Just last week, we issued the results from our latest FiOS Innovation Index, a survey of consumers’ views on technology and the connected home.  In fact, 1 in 3 would give up their car for 6 months to be first to own the PS4 or Xbox One.  Would you?  For the full survey results, click here.
