Call Manager Services Offered to Residential Customers
in Delaware,
New Jersey, Pennsylvania and

ARLINGTON, VA - Starting this month, consumers can better manage
their
busy lives and hectic schedules by taking advantage of a special offer
on Bell Atlantic's Call Manager services.

New subscribers to Call Manager services can receive one month's free
service and get a waiver on one-time installation charges as well.
The offer is available to residential customers in Virginia, Delaware,
Pennsylvania and New Jersey through May 17.

"Better management of phone calls was a consumer priority in recent
Bell Atlantic research," said Loretta Walters, Bell Atlantic
manager-product packaging. "Consumers asked for ways to 'make sure
I
get the calls I care about and skip the ones I don't need or want."

Call Manager services are Caller ID Deluxe, which lets you see who's
calling before you pick up the phone; Call Waiting, which lets you
pick up a second call without hanging up on the first call, and Answer
Call, a voice messaging service which does everything your answering
machine does and more.

Millions of Bell Atlantic customers have already purchased these
services individually or in combination to help manage their busy
lifestyles. The special Call Manager offer will allow new subscribers
to enjoy the benefits of combining all three.

"Call Manager services help consumers keep in touch with family,
friends and business by ensuring that customers get the calls they
don't want to miss," said Walters. "No other single product or
service in the marketplace can make this claim."

In the future, Bell Atlantic plans to make the Call Manger offer
available to residential customers in Maryland, West Virginia and the
District of Columbia.

Prices for individual Call Manager services vary by jurisdiction. For
more information, residential customers should call their local Bell
Atlantic business office.
