LEXINGTON, Mass. and NEW YORK - DSCI Corporation and Verizon announced today the signing of a letter of intent to enter into multi-year commercial contracts under which Verizon will continue to provide the underlying network for DSCI's Enterprise-level customers. The new contracts will succeed the current Enterprise UNE-platform arrangements currently offered by Verizon. Terms remain confidential pending completion of the definitive agreements.

Sean Dandley, DSCI's CEO, said, "I am pleased with the process and outcome of our discussions with Verizon. This letter of intent with Verizon provides stability for our business and our Enterprise customers. The negotiation process was a valuable learning experience for both organizations and will, hopefully, provide a basis for entering into successful agreements between Verizon and DSCI."

Virginia Ruesterholz, president of Verizon's Wholesale Markets Group, said, "The letter of intent entered into between DSCI and Verizon is further evidence that carriers can reach mutually beneficial commercial arrangements. These arrangements bring stability to the market and benefit end-user customers. I am pleased we are expanding our partnership with DSCI."
