EUROTEL REACHES 50,000th CUSTOMER
MILESTONE!

Czech Republic -- EuroTel is pleased to announce that
it is now
serving over 50,000 customers on its NMT 450 system in the Czech
Republic, a growth rate of over 70% in the last twelve months. The
demand for NMT 450 mobile telephone service is strong and continues to
grow despite the anticipated launch of GSM services within the next
several months. EuroTel's NMT 450 network currently covers 83% of the
territory and 95% of the population and offers the possibility to roam
in Sokavia. EuroTel is committed to continuing to serve our existing
as well as future customers and will invest $730 million. Kc in the
expansion of our NMT 450 network this year to meet the continued demand
for service and expand hand portable coverage. EuroTel's mobile
telephones and services are available at more than 100 outlets across
the country. Mobile telephone prices start as low as 13,700Kc and with
new service tariffs taking affect on April 1 our monthly access fees
will range from 995Kc to 7495Kc depending on the price plan selected
and per minute rates will range from 4.4Kc to 9.9Kc per minute.

EuroTel Praha, s.r.o. is a joint venture between SPT Telecom, Bell
Atlantic and US West providing mobile telephone services in the Czech
Republic.
