Residents of four more Donald Trump apartment buildings in Manhattan will soon have access to Verizon FiOS services, delivered over the company's advanced, all-fiber-optic network straight to customers' homes.

Verizon will soon begin to build out its all-fiber-network and, under a recently signed agreement with the Trump Organization, will bring FiOS TV and FiOS Internet services to Trump Place at 120 Riverside, Trump Place at 200 Riverside, Trump Place at 220 Riverside and The Heritage at Trump Place.  The buildings, which contain 1,264 apartments, are located in the former rail yard at the south end of Riverside Park, on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

Residents of five other Trump buildings -- The Trump World Tower at United Nations Plaza, Trump Park Avenue, Trump Parc, Trump Parc East and 610 Park Avenue -- already have FiOS services and enjoy access to over 120 high-definition (HD) channels, unique interactive TV and broadband speeds of up to 50 Mbps (megabits per second).

"This latest agreement with the Trump Organization underscores a strategic decision that is growing in popularity among property owners: to enhance and upgrade their properties' infrastructure with Verizon's advanced, all-fiber-optic network," said Eric Cevis, vice president of Verizon Enhanced Communities, the business unit within Verizon that markets and sells FiOS communications and entertainment services to single- and multiple-home communities.

"Trump properties, known for offering premier amenities, understands that it matters what network you connect to. That's why they are now offering Verizon's FiOS services to more of their residents - it's the ultimate home upgrade," Cevis said.

Trump Organization Chairman and President Donald J. Trump said: "Verizon is delivering its FiOS services over fiber-optic lines connected straight to my buildings, which meets and exceeds the high standard of technology and service excellence I demand. We know our residents will appreciate having the option to choose the very latest and best in entertainment and broadband services from Verizon."

Trump and Verizon are exploring other Trump properties that can be served by Verizon FiOS services.

"We like giving our residents the very best, and it includes a choice of entertainment service providers and access to the latest technology," said Trump Organization Chief Operating Officer Matthew Calamari. "Verizon FiOS service is technology that we believe will support future applications our residents will adopt."

Verizon FiOS Internet is a leader in providing "two-way fast" broadband connections.  It can deliver Internet access with maximum downstream connection speeds of up to 50 Mbps and upstream connections of up to 20 Mbps.  At 50 Mbps, downloading a 1.2 GB (gigabyte), or 90-minute, standard-definition movie takes approximately 3.2 minutes. Upload speeds of up to 20 Mbps make it a snap to send large work files from home, upload photos and videos to e-mail or social networking sites, and fully participate in today's interactive Web.

Earlier this year, Verizon received from a committee of multifamily property owners, developers and managers the first Outstanding Multifamily Partner Award fordeveloping and customizing the deployment of FiOS to work specifically for the multifamily community.

Since the end of 2005, Verizon has aggressively pursued agreements with multifamily property owners to bring FiOS to their communities. Over the years, Verizon has continually pushed the technology to deploy smarter and smaller equipment that makes it more cost- and time-efficient to deploy FiOS into apartment buildings.  To date, Verizon FiOS is available to residents in more than 1 million apartments in parts of 16 states and the District of Columbia.
