SFX Announces Verizon Wireless As New Name-In-Title Holder For Deer Creek Music Center in Indianapolis

Indianapolis, IN (November 14, 2000) - SFX Entertainment, Inc., the world's largest producer and promoter of live entertainment, announced today that leading telecommunications company Verizon Wireless has acquired the name-in-title rights to Deer Creek Music Center in Indianapolis. One of the most successful amphitheaters in America and one of 44 owned or operated by SFX, the popular Central-Indiana outdoor venue now carries the name Verizon Wireless Music Center.

Built in 1989, Verizon Wireless Music Center is a state-of-the-art outdoor amphitheater that is in its second decade of providing the most talented and eclectic entertainment of its kind. Artists that have performed at the venue in 2000 include Britney Spears, Phish, Kiss, Santana and the Dave Matthews Band. Verizon Wireless Music Center is located in the heart of Central-Indiana's farmlands, 20 miles north of downtown Indianapolis in Noblesville, Indiana.
