Verizon and Verizon Wireless Team Up To Offer Convenience of One Bill for All Services in California, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Starting today, Verizon residential customers in California can enjoy the convenience and efficiency of receiving just one monthly bill for all of their Verizon services including local, regional, long-distance and wireless calling, and DSL and other optional features.

To sign up for ONE-BILL®, customers need only have Verizon local service and Verizon Wireless service. Both accounts must be in the same name and have good credit records. There is no charge for the consolidation.

"We know our customers want the convenience of one bill for their telecommunications services," said Jill Wagner, vice president of consumer marketing for Verizon. "They want to be able to see charges for all services on one monthly statement, and they want to write one check."

John Stratton, vice president and chief marketing officer of Verizon Wireless, said, "Today's wireless customer expects end-to-end convenience. From the technology that delivers the service, to the bill that provides the detail, we are pleased to offer this one-step option to our customers."

ONE-BILL® is the latest complement to the company's industry-leading bundled offers in California. It follows the Verizon Freedom plan, introduced in June, which offers unlimited local, toll, long-distance and calling features such as Home Voice Mail -- all for $59.95.

Customers in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Texas, Hawaii, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia also have the ONE-BILL option. Over a quarter of a million customers have already signed up for this popular service.

Eventually, Verizon plans to make the single bill available to its customers nationwide.

Those ONE-BILL customers who have registered at Verizon's Web site, www.verizon.com, using information from their Verizon home phone bill, can view all their Verizon charges - including Verizon Wireless - online, and they can pay their ONE-BILL electronically via the Web. The verizon.com Web site offers dynamic self-serve options like ordering new services, placing and tracking repair orders or changing phone service when moving from one home to another, regardless of locations, within Verizon territory.

To find out if they are eligible and to order Verizon's ONE-BILL, Verizon customers can go to the company's Web site at www.verizon.com/ONE-BILL. Local and wireless customers also can call the toll-free telephone number listed on their bill to request the service.
