Verizon and other leading communications companies last year established Movearoo -  www.movearoo.com - a cost-free, interactive resource that delivers real-time assistance including pre- and post-moving tips for consumers, while easing the entire moving process.

By simply entering a home address, consumers can get help from Movearoo for everything from obtaining price quotes from moving companies to setting up home-related services, such as telephone, high-speed Internet, TV, electricity and natural gas.

"We encourage people who are moving to set up all essential home services available through Movearoo so the TV, computer, and phone will be up and running in the new residence," said Heuring.
