Verizon FiOS1 in New Jersey to Air New Jersey State Boys and Girls Soccer Championships

High school soccer fans will be able to watch the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association boys and girls state championships - exclusively on FiOS1 on Verizon's FiOS TV service.
Through Verizon's partnership with the Star Ledger/NJ.com, FiOS1 Channel 1 will air replays of all 10 championship games, starting with the Boys Non-Public A and Boys Non-Public B finals on Saturday (Nov. 19) and ending with the Girls Public Group 4 final on Nov. 26. All FiOS1 viewers in central and northern New Jersey will have access to the programming.
"These soccer championship games, as well as other high school sports programming, make FiOS1 one of the leading local sports programmers in the state," said Michelle Webb, FiOS1's director of programming. "Through our partnership with Star-Ledger/NJ.com, we can bring the excitement of these high school championship games right to our customers' living rooms."
FiOS1 will air the NJSIAA games on the following dates and times:
- Boys Soccer Non-Public A Final - Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m.
- Boys Soccer Non-Public B Final - Nov. 19 at 9:30 p.m.
- Girls Soccer Non-Public A Final - Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m.
- Girls Soccer Non-Public B Final - Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m.
- Boys Soccer Public Group 3 Final - Nov. 23 at 7:30 p.m.
- Boys Soccer Public Group 4 Final - Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
- Girls Soccer Public Group 1 Final - Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
- Girls Soccer Public Group 2 Final - Nov. 26 at 2:30 p.m.
- Girls Soccer Public Group 3 Final - Nov. 26 at 4:30 p.m.
- Girls Soccer Public Group 4 Final - Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m.

Earlier this year, FiOS1 partnered with Star-Ledger/NJ.com to air for FiOS TV customers in northern New Jersey the high school basketball title game between St. Patrick's and St. Anthony's on March 12, widely regarded as the nation's No. 1 high school basketball matchup of the year.
