HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Verizon is planning to hire 60 additional fulltime customer service consultants at the company's state-of-the-art service center here to handle a wide range of sales and customer support functions.

The consumer consultants will work in a call center handling requests from new and existing customers. This position involves sitting at a computer workstation and using a telephone headset while working continually with customers who are ordering or changing their services, or who have inquiries about them. Excellent customer-contact skills are essential.
Applicants must also be familiar with computers and be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required. Starting wages range from $501.50 to $1108 per week, plus benefits and paid training.
