Boca Raton, Fla. -- Verizon Information Services, the largest publisher of both English- and Spanish-language telephone directories, has selected Boca Raton as one of more than 20 markets where it will introduce its yellow pages -- branded Verizon SuperPages. In October 2003, Verizon will distribute more than 220,000 SuperPages to Greater Boca Raton residents and businesses.
Boca Raton-area shoppers and businesses already have access to Verizon's leading online directory and shopping resource, SuperPages.com, as well as the only national Spanish-language online directory -- SuperPages.com en Español. Boca Raton currently receives more than 50,000 searches each month on SuperPages.com.
"Many Boca Raton residents know and trust the Verizon brand," said Chuck Edwards, general sales manager, Verizon SuperPages. "Our local residents fit the Verizon profile of smart shoppers who seek comprehensive information including the Verizon SuperPages directory and its online directory and shopping resource, SuperPages.com."
The new SuperPages directory, which will feature a localized cover, will include a Dining Your Way! Restaurant Guide, spotlighting area restaurants. The restaurant guide includes an A-Z index, menus and maps.
Edwards heads a staff of more than 50 sales and support personnel serving Boca Raton and West Palm Beach. "We are always looking for good sales representatives," said Edwards.
