Seattle, WA - Verizon Wireless and Allrecipes.com® today announced the availability of Allrecipes.com's leading online meal planning resources on Verizon Wireless' new Mobile Web service. With direct access to Allrecipes.com's services, Verizon Wireless' customers can now quickly and conveniently reference tens of thousands of recipes and personalized shopping lists while at the office, grocery store or anywhere along the way.

Verizon Wireless today launched its nationwide Mobile Web service, giving customers the convenience and mobility of wireless communications with popular content from the World Wide Web. The Mobile Web service, which runs on Verizon Wireless' robust and reliable, coast-to-coast CDMA network, gives users access to the Web-based information they want via their wireless handset.

Verizon Wireless customers can access Allrecipes.com under the Entertainment category, which appears on their main menu of the Mobile Web service on their Internet-enabled phone. Recipes are searchable by category or ingredient. This is the fourth agreement Allrecipes.com has signed with major wireless players. The meal planning resources are now available on AT&T, Sprint PCS, Verizon Wireless and Bell Canada's wireless services.
