Verizon Wireless Celebrates Burnsville Store Grand Opening, February 28-March 3

Verizon Wireless will celebrate the grand opening of its new Burnsville retail store location with special offers and guest appearances February 28 - March 3. Friday, March 1, Burnsville Mayor Elizabeth Kautz and members of the Chamber of Commerce will officially celebrate the new store location with a wire-cutting ceremony at noon.

The weekend celebration will kick off Thursday, February 28, with an appearance by Timberwolves starting forward Joe Smith from 5 - 7 p.m., during which time Smith will sign autographs. In addition, customers can register through Sunday at the Burnsville store to win Timberwolves game tickets and premier autographed items.

Customers who activate a calling plan over the grand opening weekend will receive a free earbud (value of $14.99) at the Burnsville Verizon Wireless retail store, which is located just off of Interstate 35W at 716 County Road 42 (next to Target). The Verizon Wireless store features the latest digital phones and accessories as well as the America's Choice™ local and national calling plans on the nation's most-extensive wireless network.

The Burnsville store manager is LaDawn Lundstrom and the store hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.; and Sunday, noon - 6 p.m. The store's phone number is 952-898-0237. The Burnsville store was previously located at 13967 Grand Ave. in Burnsville.
