Verizon Wireless Names Degbor New Public Relations Manager in New England

Verizon Wireless, formerly Bell Atlantic Mobile, recently appointed J. Abra Degbor of Malden, MA Public Relations Manager for the New England Region, which encompasses Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont.
Degbor is responsible for media outreach, directing the company's extensive community relations efforts focused on domestic violence prevention, and employee communications. She also manages the company's speaker's bureau in the New England area.
Degbor is a member of Women in Community Service, where she is a recipient of the Mary Hallaren Trailblazer award. She was previously Public Relations Manager for the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. She is a graduate of Smith College (B.A.) and Emerson College (M.A.).
