Verizon Wireless Names Thomas as Vice President of Marketing for the Northwest Area

Verizon Wireless has named Harry Thomas vice president of Marketing for the Northwest Area. In his new role, Thomas is responsible for directing all marketing activities in the Northwest Area, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota and Minnesota.
Thomas, a 15-year veteran of the consumer products industry, was most recently the director of Marketing for Verizon Wireless in Northern California. Prior to that, he held a variety of product marketing positions with General Mills. He also has a strong financial background, having started his career as a Senior Brand Financial Analyst with Johnson and Johnson.
Thomas holds a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the Wharton School. He will reside in Bellevue, Washington.
