Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless communications provider, will mark the opening of its new retail store in Crossville with store celebrations February 28 through March 2.
"When we open our doors in Crossville, our customers will see the latest wireless products and services surrounded by a spacious, customer-friendly floor plan," said Sandy Maloney, Verizon Wireless district manager, retail, for North Middle Tennessee. "Crossville is a growing market, and the new store will help us better serve the entire area."
The new Verizon Wireless store is located at 2009 North Main Street. Store manager Chris Flatt will lead the Crossville sales team.
Verizon Wireless will host the opening celebrations from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public is invited to tour the new store, view product demonstrations and participate in prize giveaways and other activities.
In conjunction with the store opening, Verizon Wireless will donate $500 to Battered Women, Inc., a shelter program for victims of domestic violence in Crossville.
"Verizon Wireless is committed to domestic violence awareness, and we are pleased to lend our support to Battered Women, Inc., and other local domestic violence prevention programs," said Maloney. "These programs provide a much needed service to the Crossville community, and we look forward to a lasting relationship."
The new Verizon Wireless communications store features a variety of products and services including the latest wireless Internet services, including Mobile Web and Mobile Office, and Mobile Messenger for two-way text messaging. Customers visiting the new store can sign up for Verizon Wireless' new America's Choice plan, which has the best combination of geographic coverage and talk time made-to-order for wireless users. America's Choice is designed for wireless users who want the same rates to apply everywhere the company provides service. There are seven different pricing options, ranging from $35 for 300 minutes to $200 for 3,000 minutes. In addition to these offers, the Crossville store is also featuring specials on the Ericsson 1288C, the Nokia 5185i and the Kyocera Smartphone QCP 6035, along with a premier line of other digital wireless phones, data products and accessories. The staff of trained professionals at each store can assist individuals in selecting equipment, calling plans or setting up Mobile Web, Verizon Wireless' Internet access service.
"We will offer our customers the very latest wireless communications technology in a modern, well-equipped, customer-friendly environment," said Maloney. "They will get the same topnotch service as before, but in a new, expanded environment where we are able to provide a broad range of equipment and service plans to suit every need, all backed by our 'Worry Free Guarantee.'"
