It’s officially spring, and that means spending more time outdoors at barbeques and picnics, playing sports and hiking and just relaxing enjoying the sunshine. Verizon has two accessories to help you get the most out this spring: the Garmin vivosmart HR and the UE Boom 2 Bluetooth speaker.
Starting tomorrow April 1, the Garmin vivosmart HR will be $139.99 (normally $149.99) and the UE Boom 2 will be $149.99 (normally $199.99). The discounted pricing will be available for the month of April as part of Verizon’s accessory of the month promotion.
Spring into Fitness
Whether you’re just starting a fitness journey or tired of being indoors at the gym because of the cold weather, the Garmin vivosmart HR is ideal for reaching goals.
The touchscreen activity tracker includes steps, distance, calories, heart rate, floors climbed and activity intensity. It can also receive text, call, email and other alerts when paired with your smartphone so you don’t feel disconnected. You can even wirelessly sync to Garmin Connect to become part of an online community where you can join in challenges and even share your progress with others.
Music and Sunshine
We take our music everywhere thanks to our smartphone and streaming apps. But when springtime comes and the group gathers around a picnic or barbeque, smartphone speakers may not be enough.
The UE Boom 2 portable speaker projects sound in 360-degrees so music blasts in every direction. And with its IPX7-rating, it is designed to withstand drops from up to 5 feet.
Using the UE Boom 2 app on your smartphone lets you start a virtual party and take turns playing DJ with up to three friends while connected to the speaker. The far-reaching wireless range lets you adjust volume or change the song from up to 100 feet away, so there’s no need to stay right near the speaker.
Your playlist reflects your mood and lifestyle, so your speaker should as well. The UE Boom 2 is available blue, white, purple, black, teal, and red color models.
