University of Kentucky basketball fans had their chance to see, touch and take pictures with the UK’s men's college basketball championship trophy when it made stops at Verizon Wireless stores in Lexington and Louisville on Saturday, April 14.

The trophy traveled to the Hamburg Verizon Wireless store Saturday morning and then the Old Brownsboro Crossing store on Louisville’s east end that afternoon. During the stops, fans had a rare opportunity to touch the trophy and take individual photos with it. There was a great turnout at both stores by loyal UK basketball fans.

The line of UK fans at the Verizon Wireless store at Old Brownsboro Crossing in Louisville extended more than 100 people for most of the two hours that the national championship trophy was on display there.
