Today, Verizon expanded its 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network in Big Rapids, MI. Residents and business users across portions of Big Rapids, Big Rapids Township, Colfax Township, Mecosta Township and Green Township, as well as on Ferris State University’s campus, can now take advantage of the nation’s largest and fastest 4G network with speeds up to 10 times faster than Verizon Wireless’ 3G network.

In late December, Verizon expanded its 4G network across more of Kalamazoo and Saginaw and into Midland and Bay City. Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE coverage now extends all the way from Flint to Saginaw.
