SAN DIEGO, CA — In response to growing demand for wireless communications products and services, Verizon Wireless has opened four new retail locations in San Diego, including stores in Del Mar and Stonecrest Plaza, and sales kiosks in Encinitas and Carmel Valley. Verizon Wireless now owns and operates 15 retail stores and kiosks throughout the area.

Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and two-way text messaging services, including MobileWeb, Mobile Messenger and Mobile Office. The stores also offer a variety of phones in all price ranges, from the Motorola 2260 with changeable color phone covers ($39.99 - two-year service activation required) to the Verizon Wireless web-ready, Palm-powered Smartphone from Kyocera ($499.99 - one-year service activation required).
