FOXBORO, MA — Verizon Wireless is donating 18 concert tickets to the American Cancer Society for tonight's sold-out 'NSYNC 2001 PopOdyssey Concert and 14 tickets to the Rhode Island Tomorrow Fund for tomorrow's show, both at Foxboro Stadium. The company is co-sponsoring the 'NSYNC tour.
Six families will each receive three tickets, one for the child and two for their chaperones. Additionally, 4 tickets will be auctioned off on a Boston radio station with all proceeds going to Jane Doe Inc. (JDI). Jane Doe brings together organizations and people committed to ending domestic violence and sexual assault.
The Tomorrow Fund of Rhode Island helps children with cancer by providing family emotional support, cancer research, education and outreach and family financial support. "We are thankful to Verizon Wireless for donating these tickets to the children. It offers them the opportunity to be kids and have fun," said Nancy Isabel, director of development for the Rhode Island Tomorrow Fund.
