The new site is a fixed antenna co-located on the water tower in downtown Gowrie. Verizon Wireless offers a variety of digital wireless handsets and service plans, including local, regional and nationwide pricing options.

The new site is part of over $20 million dollars of network improvements in Iowa this year. With the nation's most extensive wireless network, Verizon Wireless is investing $4 billion in network improvements nationwide during 2001.
