WOBURN, MA — Verizon Wireless today donated of five HopeLineSM voice mailboxes to New Beginnings Women's Crisis Center. These wireless voice mailboxes will allow victims of domestic violence to give out a phone number to prospective employers, landlords, health care professionals, and family members to receive private messages with dignity as they begin the process of rebuilding their life away from an abusive situation.

New Beginnings Women's Crisis Center is a non-profit agency that serves those whose lives have been affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse in Belknap County. New Beginnings is a member of the New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic Violence and offers a 24-hour crisis line at 1-800-852-3388.

"We are thrilled that Verizon Wireless has donated their HopeLine Voice Mailboxes to New Beginnings," said Kathy Keller, Executive Director of New Beginnings Crisis Center. "Verizon Wireless is a recognized leader for its domestic violence awareness campaign and should be viewed as a role model for other corporations to follow."
