MONTREAL, CANADA and BEDMINSTER, NJ — Boulder Dash®, dubbed "the best Commodore 64 game ever" is back with another platform to conquer. An undeniable hit for years in arcades, on consoles and on PCs, this nostalgic action-puzzle game is now going mobile as Boulder Dash®-M.E.TM with Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider and operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network. Beginning this week on Verizon Wireless' Get It NowSM, a virtual wireless software store, you can dig tunnels, collect diamonds and, of course, dodge boulders.

Losing none of its charm or playability in the mobile space, the game Boulder Dash®-M.E.™ has 26 challenging caves (10 tutorial and 16 game caves) providing players the ability to rotate the screen 90 degrees and a vast inventory of tools and weapons, like sledgehammers, kicks and bombs. Already ranked #1 by Midlet-Review, and recipient of two Mobile Games Awards™ Boulder Dash®-M.E.™ is expected to carry this success into the wireless world. The sixth game in the award winning Boulder Dash® series was developed by InstantCom, Ltd. of Zagreb, Croatia and is published jointly by First Star Software and Airborne Entertainment.

"We are very pleased to be working with Airborne," said Richard M. Spitalny, President of First Star. "They have excellent relationships with the country's leading mobile network operators and are very experienced marketing and promoting strong brands such as Boulder Dash."

"As games go, Boulder Dash is an incredibly well-known commodity," said Garner Bornstein, CEO of Airborne Entertainment. "This increases its value immensely in the marketplace. Older players will be taken by the game's nostalgia appeal while younger players will get off on how challenging and how much fun it is."

Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers using select Get It Now-enabled handsets can access the Get It Now virtual store. Boulder Dash®-M.E.™ is available on the Samsung SCH-A530, LG VX6000 and Audiovox CDM8600 for $2.99 monthly access or $5.99 for unlimited use purchase.
