DALLAS, TX — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless provider, has named Dolores Skarjune as director of Indirect Sales. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Skarjune will be responsible for the overall sales, operations and the growth of indirect distribution channels. In this role, Skarjune will add new indirect retail locations and strengthen relationships with national retailers and agents across Texas. Skarjune's region includes Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley and select markets in Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

"Dolores will oversee our expansion of the indirect channel, as we continue to add quality indirect retail locations to provide the best service to Verizon Wireless customers," said Gary Riding, region president for Verizon Wireless.

Skarjune has more than 13 years of sales and operations expertise with Verizon Wireless Paging Solutions and its predecessor companies. She has held a wide variety of sales and operations positions within the company, including executive director of operations, district general manager and operations manager. Skarjune attended Schoolcraft Community College and Oakland Community College in Michigan.
