JAMDAT Mobile's Bejeweled Multiplayer Now Available to Verizon Wireless Get It Now Customers

LOS ANGELES and SAN FRANCISCO — From the CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment 2004 show at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, global wireless entertainment publisher JAMDAT Mobile Inc. (Nasdaq:JMDT) announced today it has launched Bejeweled Multiplayer, the award-winning gem-matching puzzle game, through Verizon Wireless' Get It Now® downloadable application service.

Recently chosen as "Best Mobile Phone Game" at G-Phoria, "the Award Show 4 Gamers," Bejeweled Multiplayer is a fast-paced wireless game that allows consumers to experience the thrill of exciting head-to-head matches with other players. Bejeweled Multiplayer was adapted and published for wireless by JAMDAT under license from PopCap Games, a leading Seattle-based developer of casual computer games.

Bejeweled Multiplayer's cross-carrier functionality allows players to experience the thrill of competing against subscribers whether their opponent is across town or across the country.

Verizon Wireless customers with select Get It Now-enabled phones can purchase Bejeweled Multiplayer for $2.99 monthly access.

Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled handset and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.
