WOODSTOCK, GA — Verizon Wireless, which owns and operates the nation's most reliable wireless network serving 49.3 million customers, announces the promotion of Jim McMichen to Store Manager of the Woodstock Communications Store.
In his new position, McMichen will be responsible for customer service, retail sales, inventory, merchandising, employee training and implementing marketing initiatives for Verizon Wireless and its products. This new Woodstock location, located at 121 Lauren Way, opened on October 13.
"McMichen brings a wealth of experience to retail operations in Woodstock. His leadership and management will guide this new location to reach top performance and exceed our customer expectations," said Dean Taylor, director retail sales, Georgia/Alabama for Verizon Wireless.
McMichen began his career with Verizon Wireless in 1999. In the six years since, he has served on the management teams for the Kennesaw, Towne Center and Ellijay Communications Stores. McMichen holds two degrees. He earned a degree in Business Communications from the University of Georgia and another in Marketing Communications from Kennesaw State University.
