NEW YORK, NY — For the first time in American Sports, mobile viewers can feel like they're on the rail at Pimlico Race Course, whether they're at home or on the go. On Saturday, May 19th, subscribers to mobile channel NBC2Go, offered by Verizon Wireless V Cast Mobile TV, along with over one hundred thousand at Pimlico and millions watching on NBC, will be able to catch NBC Sports' live mobile coverage of the 132nd running of the Preakness Stakes® as Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense continues his quest for the elusive Triple Crown in the middle jewel of the famed Thoroughbred horse racing series.

"NBC Sports is committed to bringing our content to fans wherever they are, so we're excited to launch our first live mobile broadcast with the Preakness Stakes," said Perkins Miller, Senior VP Digital Media, NBC Sports and Olympics.

"Maryland Jockey Club is thrilled with NBC2Go's live mobile coverage of Preakness. Now, one of America's most venerable sporting events is also one of the most advanced. Through NBC's Preakness Stakes Lucky U Game, the recently announced text messaging contest to vote for the horse you think will win the Race, and NBC2Go's mobile streaming of the Preakness, fans can now experience multiple action fun," said Karin De Francis of The Maryland Jockey Club.

NBC2Go, part of the FLO TV service from MediaFLO USA, Inc., is currently available to Verizon Wireless V Cast Mobile TV customers in 30 markets, including New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Las Vegas and Atlanta.
