Verizon Wireless Continues To Improve Wireless Coverage In Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

ROANOKE RAPIDS, NC — Wireless users in North Carolina are now experiencing increased coverage in Roanoke Rapids and surrounding communities, thanks to new Verizon Wireless cell site improvements. Verizon Wireless customers will immediately experience enhanced wireless coverage in the following areas:

• Highway 48 and Medoc Mountain Road area near Brinkleyville
• Carolina Crossroads - near the intersection of Highway 125 and I-95

The recent network enhancement enables more Verizon Wireless customers to use their wireless phones to make calls; send and receive e-mail and text, picture and video messages; and download games and Ringtones while enjoying superior wireless coverage.
