Verizon Wireless Relocates To Larger, More Interactive Store To Better Serve Galesburg, Illinois

GALESBURG, IL — Verizon Wireless has relocated its Communications Store in Galesburg to 503 Knox Square Dr., Suite 116, offering customers in the area a more interactive, hands-on experience with the coolest wireless phones and newest technology in a sleek, new full-service environment.
The 2800-square-foot store is the first within a 100-mile radius to showcase a new and highly interactive retail concept that is a departure from Verizon Wireless' traditional retail store design. Customers can pick up and try more than 80 functioning wireless phones and experience on-demand access to more than 2.7 million downloadable songs; cutting-edge 3D games; and short news, weather, sports and entertainment video clips. The store also features interactive television screens, accessories such as Bluetooth headsets, as well as wireless cards and modems for laptops.

Christopher Kelley, of Galesburg, the new store's manager, will oversee a group of 11 employees.
Verizon Wireless' Communications Store in Galesburg is open Monday though Saturday 9 a.m.8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.6 p.m. The store's phone number is 309-343-1171.
