BELLEVUE, WA — Verizon Wireless has named Bobby Morrison president of its Pacific Northwest Region, replacing Kelley Kurtzman who held the position for the last ten years and has been named vice president, Verizon Telecom Operations in Basking Ridge, NJ. As regional president, Morrison will be based in the Bellevue, Washington offices and responsible for the company’s sales, operations, financial performance and customer experience within the states of Washington, Oregon, Northern Idaho and soon Alaska.
“Bobby brings over 18 years of experience in high-level business sales, customer service, marketing and operations management to the Pacific Northwest, and his track record of success makes Bobby the right person to lead the region,” said Tami Erwin, Verizon Wireless West Area President. “We also want to thank Kelley Kurtzman for her ten years of service as region president and wish her continued success as she transitions into her new role with Verizon Communications.”
Most recently, Morrison served as executive director of sales and marketing for the Midwest Region and has been named a President’s Cabinet winner five times during his career at Verizon Wireless, an honor reserved for those ranking in the top one percent in sales performance.
He began his career with Verizon Wireless in June 2000 as a business sales manager in Northeast Ohio. Throughout his tenure with the company, Morrison has held a variety of leadership roles, including director of business and enterprise sales in Illinois and Wisconsin.
Morrison earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Walsh University in Ohio where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
