Parents looking for fun family-friendly events this weekend will want to be at the first ever L Festival. This two-day music, food and arts fest, held October 24th and 25th at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, Calif., celebrates the cultural diversity of Latin America’s rich flavors, vibrant colors and lively sounds.

The L Festival event-goers will experience an array of musical artists and tasty local traditional Latin flavor treats from across 30 Latin American countries.

People of all ages will be inspired by the diverse creativity of some 50 Latin American artists displaying their work in multiple galleries on site. The explosion of brilliant color, emotions and philosophical expressions offers something for everyone to connect with and enjoy.

After taking in the Latin American art and grabbing a bite with their children, parents may want to immerse their children in the best in Latin American music, spanning every generation and genre. Thirty artists will perform on four stages, including special appearances by superstars Enrique Iglesias, La Arrolladora Banda el Limón, Juan Gabriel, Gloria Trevi, David Bisbal and La Santa Cecilia.

Verizon, a champion of rising Latino artists, recently hosted “Música Unsigned,” a contest in which local artists competed to earn a recording session with Grammy Award-winning producer, Andres Levin. Los Angeles indie band, Radial, comprised of four friends who grew up together in Puerto Rico, won the contest and have since released a new album.

Two-day passes for the event start at $99, with VIP upgrades available at lfestival.com. Admission is free for children younger than 6 and half-price for children 7 to 10 with a paying adult.

Come and immerse yourself in Latin American culture at L Festival.
