Verizon office spaces

Our team works in places all over the world. Some team members interact with our customers; others are behind the scenes. But all of them work together to ensure that our customers get the products and services they need. Here are four types of workspaces you might want to consider for the next step in your career.

Call centers

If you like helping people and prefer to work over the phone, check out rewarding career opportunities at a Verizon call center. Our customer service representatives answer customer inquiries about billing, minor technical issues, upgrades and plan changes. Technical support specialists troubleshoot complex technical concerns. The emphasis for both groups is on the team and on helping customers with their needs. Many call centers have amenities such as game areas, coffee shops and gyms that add to the spirit of fun and camaraderie.

Innovation centers

Want to work in a high-tech lab? Our innovation centers, located in Waltham, Massachusetts and San Francisco, are state-of-the-art facilities that provide real-world settings for testing wireless products. We work with entrepreneurs and help them develop innovative commercial products, like wireless printing kiosks, robotic mobile cameras and trash containers that tell sanitation workers when they’re full. It’s a highly collaborative environment that brings out the best in our business partners and our network.

Retail stores

Our 1,700 retail stores in the US are where our sales team provides customers with service and solutions for their wireless needs. Our destination stores in particular offer a new kind of retail shopping experience, with interactive lifestyle zones and personalized hands-on training. The retail environment offers several levels of expertise for customers—retail customer service representatives, operations specialists and sales representatives—all dedicated to helping customers use technology to improve their lives.

Corporate offices

If your background is in providing support, you might like working in our corporate offices, which maintain Verizon back-end operations. These behind-the-scenes activities help the company run smoothly. They include human resources (nurturing our workplace culture), sourcing (overseeing suppliers), legal and regulatory (working with contracts and regulations) and supply chain (managing warehouses and transportation). Amenities vary from site to site but can include awesome work perks, such as game rooms, fitness centers, cafeterias and on-site university offices.
