What you’ll be doing...

  • Design systems and solutions which enable Verizon customers to improve its core operations and profitability. Increase return on investments for Verizon assets base bringing new customers/partners into Verizon’s ecosystem. Expand and retain market share in strategic target areas.
  • Accelerate speed to market for emerging Verizon technologies and services by sourcing early adopters, securing feedback for product developers, and helping refine offerings to realize full potential of Verizon offerings
  • Execute on go to market and business development initiatives tied to the commercial launch of advanced solution sets, professional services offerings, and platform strategies.
  • Initiate and execute demand generation and collaborative customer/partner facing sales activity with field teams, marketing, and partner channels to drive adoption of IoT and advanced services both internally and externally.
  • Engage in qualified market opportunities: provide domain expertise, architect solutions, oversee contract lifecycle for maximum profitability, and drive to close. Provide guidance for responses to RFI/RFP/RFQs.
  • Proactively consult on client IT / OT environments, position Verizon as trusted advisor, and identify new opportunities for revenue generation.
  • Act as voice of the customer with regard to the viability of the existing advanced solutions portfolio. Ensure customer success criteria and ROI justification is identified and met.
  • Anticipate impending market demand and advise the national business segments organization of opportunity for future service offerings and a path to year on year business growth.
  • Act as a domain and subject matter expert; effectively support sales efforts with technical presentations and demonstrations at industry and strategic customer facing events.
  • Continually update knowledge base, business acumen, and domain expertise through ongoing professional development activities.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Product and Partner Management.

Even better if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Information Systems or Engineering.
  • Experience in managing delivery of complex solutions involving IoT, M2M, cloud, security, professional services and SaaS.
  • Strong technology marketing and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience delivering complex M2M solutions and market expertise in assigned vertical.
  • Financial management skills needed for forecasting, pricing and margin analysis.
  • Professional presentation and communication skills to address all levels of the enterprise to include client senior executives.
  • Ability to create excellent working relationships with diverse teams and job functions throughout the organization.
  • Responsive to client needs and changing requirements.
