Responsibilities

 

This position has responsibility to develop, implement, and operate a highly integrated data analysis data base to support the operational functions required for the Real Estate and Regulatory department.  Interfacing with and automating the integration of data from external data sources including; Work Flow Project Management, PeopleSoft Purchasing Order, Capital Projects, and Real Estate database systems, as well as individual Spreadsheets.  Position requires advanced skills in Data Mining, Statistical Analysis, Database design, Software development, Web Development and the creation of reporting tools.   Individual must be able to develop and implement applications without the assistance of a development team.

  • Translates business requirements into a technical design, code and test logic.
  • Must be able to receive data via excel files, scrub, cleanse, and merge for input into analysis tools.
  • Must have the ability to merge and analysis data from multiple sources for reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual problem solving, design, coding, and debugging skills.
  • Develop and maintain highly detailed reporting tools and metrics which forecast, track, and disseminate key departmental deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools for capital and expense budgeting, project forecasting, and vendor performance.


Qualifications
  •  BS in Software Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years Software Development in a high level language (PERL, JAVA, PHP)
  • 5+ years Database design with a Relational DBMS  such as Oracle, SRSS, IBM DB2 or MySQL
  • 5+ years Data Mining and Statistical Analysis, Strong understanding of Statistical Modeling using MiniTab or SAP Analytics
  • 3+ years Statistical Quality Improvement Analysis.
  • Advanced Excel
  • Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt or above
  • Experience in PeopleSoft query tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis and project management.   
  • Strong organizational skills, being detail oriented and having the ability to work independently, accurately and effectively in stressful and fast-paced environment. 
  • Solid vocabulary and writing skills for business case memorandums and other forms of written or verbal communication are a necessity.   
  • Strong Financial Acumen
