The Consultant of New Product Support will engage in a wide array of Go-To-Market activities for products, services and processes driven by VZW, VES, and VZT. The core responsibilities of the Consultant are project management, risk assessment, new product requirements gathering & authoring of research and white papers, stakeholder relationships, project prioritization, estimation and forecasting of financial and fraud mitigation impacts for new products, processes and services.

New Product Risk Evaluation
-Work with Marketing and Product Development partners on each new product & service proposal to identify fraud risks, develop control alternatives for Marketing partners, prepare detailed control requirements.
-Actively educate partners on evolving risks based on new technology and international fraud trends.
-Manage stakeholder relationships & feedback, often on highly confidential and NDA projects

Go-To-Market Support
--Design Fraud related Go-To-Market Support requirements, assist in design of processes and controls to enhance customer experience and mitigate fraud losses
- Liaison with other business functions & internal fraud centers to ensure seamless launch of new products
-Project management

External Research
-Prepare white papers and analysis based on independent research and industry/technology evaluation to be used for Senior Leadership education and fraud strategy development

 



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience in one or more of the following fields: Marketing, Product Management, IT, Network , Risk Evaluation & Management
  • Some experience with Telecom product sets preferred
  • Previous fraud experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, complete important time sensitive tasks & adapt quickly to last minute changes
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Strong organizational and process management skills
  • Ability to create and work in a team environment
  • Previous experience managing multiple assignments, with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Marketing and Product Management processes and systems
  • Expertise with managing multiple, inter-related projects and planning
