Responsibilities

The applicant will provide support on a variety of financial issues arising within the Global Wholesale organization from an FP&A perspective. The applicant will be accountable for multiple and diverse standard report deliverables including Profit and Loss Statements with comparisons to Best View, Commitment View, Prior periods, Volume Trends by Product and Customer, Key Metric related to ARPU and Rate/MOU. During the Month End Financial Close Process the candidate will be responsible for generating timely, accurate reports (Circuit/MOU Volumes, General Ledger details, Revenue by Product, ARPU/Rate per MOU). The candidate will review the reports and provide analysis of business drivers impacting results utilizing Billing and General Ledger data. The applicant will utilize various reporting databases, run predefined queries, generate various reports, and distribute on a recurring basis. This position will also support ad-hoc analysis requirements as needed within the organization providing detailed analysis behind business drivers using a variety of data repositories to source information (CPM, FRR, Hyperion Essbase, SAP). The candidate will update various financial models used to develop Best View forecasts, Annual Commitment View, and Business Plan.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment, work independently, learn new systems quickly, and comfortably interact with clients. Candidate should possess good organizational skills and be able to handle large volumes of data. Attention to detail is a critical asset in this position.

The applicant will also work on cross-functional team projects representing FP&A interests for Global Wholesale.



Qualifications
  • Bachelor'’ Degree in Accounting, Finance, releated field or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), General ledger accounting.
  • Strong Excel Skills with ability to manipulate data using Pivot tables and advance functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, OFFSET) and create functional schedules for tracking Revenue driving issues (Customer Discount Plans, Credit application, Special Construction trends).
  • MS Word and PowerPoint experience.
  • MS Access, SAP, Hyperion Essbase a plus.
