Responsibilities

Currently seeking a sales leader within Consumer and Mass Markets to lead large team (5-10 managers, 100+ service representatives) to achieve sales, customer service and productivity commitments. 

 

  • Analyzes trends and formulates tactical plans to deliver goals including customer service, profit growth, revenue protection – sales, cost management and employee communications and development.
  • Develops and supports strategies and provides leadership and motivation to the center personnel in a large team environment. 
  • Position requirements include the development, supervision and coaching of first level managers, who generally manage teams of 15 - 18 service representatives.
  • The Sales Manager is directly responsible for partnering with regional support staff to develop local training initiatives for employee development.
  • Has overall responsibility to ensure the daily operations at the Center are staffed to run effectively and efficiently to meet changing sales and customer service requirements.


Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

 

5 years call center/sales management experience. 

  • Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish both written and verbal
  • Recent experience in call center operations. 
  • Sales experience.
  • Exceptional leadership, motivational skills, excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as PC literate
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas of opportunity and quickly develop and operationalize corrective action plans
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred 

 

Desired Skills/Experience:

 

Must demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a diverse work force.

 

  • Thorough understanding of scheduling and forecast in a large team environment, company policy and procedures including attendance management and the current labor contracts. 
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Verizon's organizations and functional workflow.
