Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of consultants in the delivery of high quality mobile products
  • Lead a team of automation engineers scripting on CE devices such as Smart TV, Game Consoles for HTML5 apps
  • Responsible for development for test strategies and test plans for mobile and CE devices.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, business operations to understand business requirements and communicate impact of assessed software defects.
  • Programmatically test any software product and develop automation for it.
  • Implement and support the test process, policies, procedures and best practices
  • Plan, develop, maintain and execute test cases at all levels of testing on multiple platforms
  • Execute periodic automation/endurance tests, analyze data and present results
  • Contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including team tools, process changes, and test automation
  • Required to write and review technical product documentation


Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in managing operations of a large scale application with multi-vendor environment
  • Extensive experience in vendor management in the area of operations and testing.
  • Experience supporting applications in the fields of mobile, CE and online media
  • Strong understanding of video encoding, delivery, and distribution technologies
  • Hands on experience and solid understanding of programming languages such as Java, Perl, Python
  • Mobile or Web driver Automation experience using tools such as Selenium, SeeTest, Perfecto e.t.c
  • Performance testing experience using Load UI, JMeter or Gatling
  • Master’s degree or Bachelor degree in engineering with substantial work experience.
