Responsibilities

 

The Reporting Analyst is the central point of contact for a fast-paced team providing on demand metrics, analytics, and dashboards for an industry leading Telematics Service Provider.

Responsibilities:

The Reporting Analyst should have at least 5 years verifiable experience with the following tasks:

  • Developing ad-hoc and recurring reporting and analysis using a variety of tools including OBIEE, Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL and possibly QlikView.
  • Partner directly with business leaders and management to understand and develop reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Proven history of improving existing reporting and analysis in both function and process.
  • Ability to collaborate with many teams to facilitate reporting and analysis


Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS in a relevant discipline
  • Ability to write SQL statements
  • Understanding and use of reporting and analytics tools such as OBIEE, QlikView, and Tableau
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of physical database design.
  • Must be able to work with the existing DBAs and other IT teams to debug and resolve critical issues and proactively communicate status to management.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and guidance.
  • 5 years of experience Business Intelligence (OBIEE preferred).
  • 1 year of experience documenting metric definitions (preferred).
