Home Control: Choose your service

Using the Door/Window Sensor

  

Access your Door/Window Sensor

There are three ways to access your Door/Window Sensor: From the Home Monitoring Control Web site, mobile app or FiOS TV.

 

From my...Action

Computer

From the Home Monitoring and Control Web site on My Verizon:  

Log in to http://monitoringcontrol.verizon.com with your Verizon Online User Name and Password. From the Home Control main menu, select Device Settings. Click the Door/Window Sensor thumbanil to access your device.

Smartphone

From the Home Control mobile app:

From the Home Control dashboard, tap:

FiOS TV*

 

 

From the FiOS TV Main Menu, select Home Control. From the carousel at the bottom of the screen, locate the Device panel and select your Door/Window Sensor. 

 

*A FiOS TV subscription is required to use the Home Monitoring and Control service from the FiOS TV application.

Review your Door/Window Sensor Status

Update Notification Settings

Edit how you are notified of your Door and Window Sensor activity.

From the Home Monitoring and Control Web site on My Verizon:

Review your Door/Window Sensor Status: A "Closed" status means the door or window is physically closed. An "Open" status means the door or window is physically open.

 

To update your notification settings: From the My Devices page, select your Door/Window Sensor. From the Device Settings window, select if you would like to be notified by email, text message.

 

Note: To update the email address or mobile number associated with your Notifications, select Notifications from the top navigation. More information about Notifications

Smartphone

(Compatible)
