Before you can connect a computer to your home network, you must configure Windows to automatically obtain an IP address for the D-Link router.
The instructions and illustrations below use Windows XP. Although you can set up a network in Windows 98 SE, Me and 2000, you will find it significantly easier if the computer connected to the router or gateway is running Windows XP.
