  • Processor: PentiumĀ® or equivalent class machines or higher
  • Memory: 64 MB RAM (128 MB recommended)
  • Operating System: Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista
  • Storage: 10 MB of free hard drive space
  • Browser: Internet Explorer 5.5 or later or Netscape Navigator 7.x or higher or Firefox 1.0.7 or later
  • IEEE 802.11b/g PC adapter
  • Computer operating system CD-ROM

Effective May 18, 2007, Verizon will no longer provide support for Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition (SE) and Windows Me (Millennium Edition) with Verizon FiOS Internet. On July 11, 2006, Microsoft discontinued support for the operating systems, and you will no longer be able to receive support or security updates from Microsoft. We recommend that you upgrade to a supported operating system immediately (e.g., Windows XP or Vista) to ensure optimal performance from your Verizon FiOS Internet Service.
