Steps to create a D-Link DI-624 wireless home network in Windows XP

  1. At the prompt, enter your WEP key in the Network key field and then again in the Confirm network key field. Please note that you must enter the WEP key in HEX format, and it must be exactly the same as you entered when you set up your router.

  2. Click Connect. When the Choose a wireless network window redisplays, notice that the status is now "Connected."
  3. [Show Me]

  4. Close the window and you are ready to connect to the Internet or your other networked computers.
