Home Network Security
Concerns over your wireless home network security shouldn't end when your network is working and you have initially configured your security settings. Changing your security settings should be considered routine maintenance that is done three or four times a year.

The type of data on your network and your level of concern for your network's security will determine the frequency that you change your security settings as well as the security features that you use.

Regardless of your situation, you may want to start by periodically changing at least three security settings: your router password, the network's SSID, and the network encryption key (WPA2, WPA, or WEP).
